1. Overview
TubeLens ("we", "us") provides a YouTube analytics workspace. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. TubeLens's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up or log in.
- YouTube data: when you connect a channel, we store your OAuth refresh and access tokens (encrypted), channel metadata, video metadata, public statistics, watch-time analytics, transcripts, and comments — limited to the scopes you grant.
- Usage data: basic logs (timestamps, error traces) for reliability and security.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information solely to provide the Service: syncing your channels, generating time-bucketed snapshots, surfacing comparisons, and sending the notifications you configure. We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use Google user data to train generalized AI models.
4. Sharing
Data is visible only to members of your workspace (tenant). We use trusted sub-processors to host the Service (database, edge compute, email delivery). We do not share YouTube data with third parties except as required to operate the Service or comply with law.
5. Retention
We retain channel data while a connection is active. You can disconnect a channel at any time from its channel page, which removes stored tokens and snapshots associated with that channel. Account-level data is retained until you delete your account.
6. Your Choices
- Revoke YouTube access any time via your Google Account permissions.
- Delete a channel connection from within TubeLens to purge its data.
- Request account deletion or a data export by emailing support@tubelens.app.
7. Security
OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to tenant data is enforced via row-level security in the database. No system is perfectly secure; please report vulnerabilities to security@tubelens.app.
8. Children
TubeLens is not directed to children under 13.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
